Project identity
VIMAN EXPERIENCE is the name of a project and brand dedicated to presenting local experiences in western Sicily. It is a name used for communication purposes and is not a legal entity separate from the persons identified in this Legal Notice.
Persons and roles
Mariangela Lo Piccolo is the person associated with the GetYourGuide supplier account through which VIMAN EXPERIENCE activities are published and is the contact person for the experiences presented through that account.
Vincenzo Di Giorgio is the founder of the project and a local host. Under Mariangela’s instructions, he may assist with welcoming participants, providing local tips and handling operational communications relating to an experience.
For each booking, the contractual supplier is the supplier identified on the activity page, in the confirmation and in the GetYourGuide voucher relating to that booking.
Purpose of the website
The website is intended for information and promotional purposes and describes the project, the locations and the general features of the experiences. Purchases and payments cannot be completed directly on the website.
Its content may not reflect real-time prices, available places, schedules, inclusions or updated conditions. The contractual information for a specific experience is the information displayed during the GetYourGuide booking process and stated in the relevant confirmation and voucher.
Information requests
VIMAN EXPERIENCE may be contacted by email, telephone or through the WhatsApp links available on the website.
An information request, telephone call, message or conversation does not constitute a booking, does not reserve a place and does not automatically confirm availability. A booking is valid only when completed and confirmed through GetYourGuide in accordance with the applicable conditions.
Bookings through GetYourGuide
Bookable experiences are purchased through the external GetYourGuide platform.
Under the applicable terms, the contract for the activity is entered into directly between the customer and the supplier identified on the activity page, in the confirmation and in the voucher. GetYourGuide acts as the supplier’s platform and commercial agent to facilitate the booking, conclude the contract in the name and on behalf of the supplier, collect payment and provide assistance, modification, cancellation and refund services within the limits of its terms.
GetYourGuide does not perform the experience itself. The supplier identified in the booking remains responsible for the proper performance of the activity within the limits established by law and the applicable conditions.
The VIMAN EXPERIENCE website does not receive payments directly and does not collect payment-card details.
Prices, availability and applicable conditions
The current price and actual availability are those displayed on GetYourGuide at the time of booking and may change until the purchase is confirmed.
For each booking, the relevant information is the selected activity and option, the price shown during the booking process, included and excluded services, meeting point, schedules, duration, languages, participation requirements, any disclosed charges, cancellation policy, confirmation, voucher and applicable GetYourGuide terms.
Requests for changes, cancellations or refunds must follow the GetYourGuide channels and conditions relating to the booking concerned. This Legal Notice does not replace the booking conditions or restrict any mandatory customer rights.
Descriptions, programmes and changes
The general descriptions on the website are maintained with reasonable care. Operational details and inclusions may nevertheless differ between the options available on GetYourGuide.
Where necessary because of adverse weather, safety requirements, instructions from public authorities, unexpected unavailability of locations or facilities or other objective operational circumstances, the programme may be adapted in a reasonable and proportionate manner while preserving, as far as possible, the essential features of the experience.
Changes must not be arbitrary. Material changes, cancellations, communications and refunds follow the specific booking and the applicable GetYourGuide conditions.
Safety and participant information
Before booking, participants must read the description of the selected option, its requirements, important information and any restrictions published on GetYourGuide.
Participants must provide accurate information and promptly report, through the indicated channels, circumstances relevant to participation or safety, limited to what is necessary for the activity.
Operational and safety instructions provided before or during the experience must be followed. This does not restrict the supplier’s safety obligations or any rights granted by law.
External services and links
The website may contain links to GetYourGuide, WhatsApp, privacy notices and other relevant external services. Those services are operated by separate entities and apply their own terms and notices.
VIMAN EXPERIENCE does not control the technical availability, policies, updates or all content of external services. This statement does not exclude any liability imposed by law on Mariangela, Vincenzo or any other person for their own conduct.
The presence of a third-party link or trademark does not automatically imply affiliation, general endorsement, a guarantee or any relationship beyond the one that actually exists.
Content and intellectual property
Texts, logos, graphics, photographs, videos and other website content are protected, where applicable, by intellectual property law.
Content may belong to Mariangela Lo Piccolo, Vincenzo Di Giorgio, guests, authors or other rights holders and may be used under licences or authorisations. Third-party platforms’ and providers’ trademarks, logos, reviews, photographs and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Content may not be reproduced, distributed, modified or used beyond what is permitted by law or the applicable licences without the authorisation of the relevant rights holder.
Accuracy and availability of the website
The website is maintained with the aim of providing accurate and understandable information. Errors, outdated content or temporary technical interruptions may nevertheless occur.
Where a material error is identified, reasonable steps will be taken to correct it. Continuous availability of the website is not guaranteed; this statement does not prejudice confirmed bookings, mandatory obligations, rights granted by law or liability relating to performance of the experience.

Each person or entity is responsible, in accordance with the law and the applicable conditions, for the activities and functions under their control.
This Legal Notice is not a general waiver and does not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, breach of safety obligations or infringement of mandatory consumer rights.
Nothing in this Legal Notice restricts remedies available under the law or the conditions applicable to the booking in the event of non-performance or improper performance of the activity.
